Question One
How has Wal-Mart changed its internationalization over time?
Wal-Mart has been a successful retail business for a long time. However, with changes in the retail sector, the company has changed its internationalization strategy. Improving quality is one of the strategies. Walmart has realized that international markets require products that meet the standards of their markets, and Wal-Mart has ensured that. Secondly, Walmart has entered the online market where it is selling its products. The company has realized that customers can use their smart gadgets from all over and through that way, the retail store is getting into international markets. Thirdly, the retail store is getting into international markets through supercenters and neighborhood stores and through that means it has been able to appease consumers (Diegzis, 2015). Last but not least, the retail business is using a method of wholesale to sell its goods to other business in international markets.
Question Two
Critically Asses Walmart International Performance
Walmart has been a successful retail store in markets that it has been able to entre. As much as it was difficult to get into certain markets, currently, there has been a success in the retail store. One of the success stores is the entry of Walmart into the Mexican market. The retail store was able to get into a joint venture where it went on to open one of the largest retail stores.
