Distribution
Distribution of products is done following specific patterns depending on customer needs. The customer needs to necessitate the branding of the same product differently to suit different customer demands. One of the products with different brands is motorcycles. There are several brands but which include Honda, Suzuki, and Kingbird, among others ("The 20 Best Motorcycle Brands (Updated In 2020)", 2020). The three brands are positioned differently in the market.
Honda is a prestigious and luxurious brand. It targets the high and business class who use the motorcycle for business trips. The brand is also famous for racing hence popular with motorcycle racers. It is a bit expensive, meaning it targets people who are well off financially (Djatmiko et al., 2015). Suzuki is the cheapest among Japanese motorcycles. It is positioned to target the people who are not so wealthy and wish to own a motorcycle and those who want to spend less on the same product. However, it is not used much for commercial purposes but instead used for private commuter services (Rahayu & Zanky, 2018).
Kingbird is a motorcycle brand produced by Lifan Group. It is famous for business people who transport products from places with low road networks or people who cannot afford vehicle transport (Pius et al.). It is also cheap to accommodate the pockets of low earning customers.
