TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership Agreement)

TPP is a body that joins different economies across the globe, and the recent partnership was put into effect by 12 countries from pacific regions. However, there have been mishaps between the USA and other stakeholders within the agency, especially during the Trump administration. The former president withdrew from the agreement due to a change of economic strategies. Moreover, other parties such as China and UK have brought forward economic agreements to strengthen the economy. Historically, TPP was established during the Obama administration, and its primary objective was to make a free trade deal amongst countries in the economy. In this case, more economic opportunities would open in other countries meaning the American economy would expand extensively.

The current TPP has made some vital agreements between the member states. Firstly, develop a dispute resolving mechanism which would cater for all goods in out and out of member states. Secondly, the agreement would cater for tariffs to ensure no country is economically hurt due to economic sanctions. The deal has also liberated the trade deals from a global glance. It will entail the protection of goods in other countries from discrimination. On the other hand, since the USA already withdrew from the commerce platform that would see free trade, Japanese diplomats are expecting the country to rejoin TPP again. Japan diplomats are expected to have a meeting with Joe Bidden, the USA's current president, to negotiate the terms.
