Reflection
Throughout the study during this semester, I now fully understand the essence of management in multinational corporations. When venturing into new markets, businesses are expected to develop critical strategies through its management and board of directors. The aim of this is to ensure that every aspect of the organization is cushioned from perceived risks within the new market. The knowledge has influenced my career goals due to exciting roles presented in the management of multinational companies. When venturing into new markets, multinational organizations offer managers unique opportunities to learn, adapt, and develop critical measures to warrant attainment of the business goals.
Due to these vital benefits, I would wish to work for a multinational organization when I complete my studies. In addition to the opportunities to learn, the manager also has opportunities to assess and evaluate potential workers in the new market. In this regard, the human resource department is usually mandated to evaluate these workers and ensure that the skills acquired or hired align with the business model. Therefore, I would like to work and pursue a managerial career in a multinational firm because of the potential to grow and travel in different parts of the world. In summary, the course has been informative, challenging, and transformative due to the various aspects of management I learned. I am hoping to apply these skills in real-life management roles in a multinational firm.
