Question 1
Location decisions are crucial in supply chain management. It is an entity used to assess the value of products and their demand to the customers. Typically, import duty is the amount of money charged on exports and imports. In this case, the value of goods will always determine the market price (Meixell & Gargeya, 2005). Increased import duty charges affect the value of products in the warehouse. Increased charges force importers to increase the value of products which affects the demand to the customer. In this scenario, the location of warehouses will be affected. High import duties require the relocation of a warehouse close to customers to cut the transport costs. Exchange rates determine the currency's value in a particular location (Meixell & Gargeya, 2005). Entrepreneurs will always choose locations where exchange rates are stable to avoid losses. Both import duties and exchange rates affect the location of warehouses in supply chain management.

Secondly, establishing facilities everywhere enables the company to attract more talents. Talent is vital to any company because it helps in elevating innovation.
