Post-COVID-19 Organizational Speech, 9th June 2020
Ladies and gentlemen, I take this opportunity to welcome you back after a short interruption in our business and the global economy. My heart goes out to the families that lost loved ones to Coronavirus and other complications that might have emerged due to the global public health crisis. The economic crisis caused by the pandemic had a significant impact on the company's profitability, forcing the company to make a difficult decision of parting with some of our colleagues.
The management desires that our friends will find new opportunities to pursue their dreams and desires. Our expectation that the retained team is sufficiently capable of accelerating the recovery of the organization for us to accommodate some of our former colleagues who might not have found a solution to the shared predicaments then. For this purpose, we should expect several changes in how we will resume operations smoothly.
Structural changes in the organization's management will remain the same as the board reviews several performance reports. However, the organization will strive to follow government guidelines on measures to halt the virus's re-infection. Therefore, workstations will no longer hold four people but 2 to maintain social distance. The organization will provide facemasks which will be placed at the entrance along with hand sanitizers. To ensure increased productivity, given the reduced number of persons per station, the organization will introduce night shifts to provide flexible working hours for employees while helping the organization recover.
