Preparation for Decision Making
Every organization undergoes constant improvement of services, which include introducing new products and improving the existing ones. This is a call that is brought by technological advancement. When the innovations are brought on the table, the management decides whether to adopt or decline. The decision may also entail making improvements on the innovation. But how does the management arrive at a decision that is best for the organization? This work outlines the preparation for a decision-making process based on the research of innovation and technology. As the management prepares to make a decision, it should look at three main areas concerning the product, including the quality, the price as well as the cost of production.
The quality of the product
Innovations introduce new products but it never guarantees good quality. Some of the products end up being of low quality and might not fit the organization’s goals and principles. Quality is what keeps a market share for an organization loyal. When the quality is compromised then the organization’s image will be damaged. All organizations worldwide look forward to maintaining their image in the face of customers by providing the best quality services and products. It is also the main tool that most organizations use to beat their competitors. Quality, therefore, will be the first functional area that the management will look at before making any decision.
