Dear Johnson,

I want to acknowledge the improvements you made regarding your absenteeism in the past few weeks. Regular reposting to work has been noted since we had the meeting where we discussed the issue and the necessary improvement measures. However, I am concerned with the new trend of skipping work in the afternoon after yesterday's incident. You went for lunch and never returned in the afternoon without giving any explanations. I was conducting employees' registration for the upcoming seminar when I bumped into an empty working station. The secretary informed me that your new trend started a while ago. You failed to report back to work after lunch for a total of four days. I assume you are familiar with the rules and regulations of this company. Absenteeism is a vice that is never tolerated in this company. We consider time a valuable resource that propels our business and eliminates competition with other organizations. As a manager, I am responsible for ensuring that the company's rules are followed to the latter. Like other employees, I advise that you observe the rules and regulations of this company.

Moreover, as you reported in the morning, I greeted you, but you ignored me. It portrays rudeness which is against our ethics. This may hinder harmonious coexistence at the workplace.
