CODE OF ETHICS AND STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
Preamble
KTS code of ethics shows the dedication of KTS professionals and guarantees high standards of competency and ethics. The code is aimed at protecting the interests of clients. It ensures that the standards for delivering services are unique and valuable. In order to work with us, compliance with the Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct is a primary requirement for any certification. This is the mark of integrity that distinguishes us from other financial planners and consultants. Any form of violation may lead to KTS disciplinary action.
CODE OF ETHICS
A KTS professional is expected to:
- Exhibit honest, integrity, competence, and diligence in all his actions.
- Always act in the best interests of the client.
- Exercise due care when offering services.
- Manage, avoid, and disclose any conflict of interest.
- Always maintain the confidentiality and privacy of the client's information.
- Act in a manner that positively portrays the financial planning profession and KTS certification.
STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
- DUTIES OWED TO CLIENTS
- Fiduciary Duty: When providing financial advice to a customer, a KTS professional must act as a fiduciary. Therefore, the acts of the professional must be in the best interests of the client. The expert must exhibit loyalty, care, and follow all the instructions from the client. Whenever there is a conflict of interest, consent must be obtained from the client before taking any action.
- Integrity: All the professional services offered by the professional must be provided integrity.
