Discuss your findings from the empirical analysis regarding each of the six movies. If the analysis warrants, what accounting treatment (journal entry) would you recommend the client make as of Feb. 28, 2020?

Closing entry

This is the accounting entry that would come in handy in the business on movies as the case study highlights. Closing entry is a journal entry that is normally applied within the end of an accounting period. This type of journal entry helps in shifting the balances that have ended in their balances in terms of gain, expenses, revenue together with loss. All the types of balances will then be moved to what is called retained earnings account. The aim of carrying out this form of entry helps in emptying temporary accounts to accumulate information that is transactional for an upcoming accounting period (Warren & Jones, 2018). This form of entry would, therefore, come in handy in entering the journal for the six movies that have been mentioned as every financial aspect will be understood by the accounting personnel.

By use of the closing entry, the client will be in a position to know if they will recover the cost of the upcoming movies. The main reason that would help the statistics of recovery to be known is that closing entry helps in filling various forms of information.
