Assessment 2: Business Strategy
Instructions
For this assessment, you will choose a real organization that you have interest in, then imagine that leadership has asked you to create a business strategy for the company. It is important that you choose a company in an industry that you can research in the Capella library and online to create a well-researched and supported plan.
To begin, you will need to complete a brief PESTLE analysis or a Five Forces model based on research of the organization (not conjecture or opinion). You should summarize the analysis in your introduction and include the full analysis in an appendix at the end of your paper. You should also research the industry your company is in, as well as the company's website for information and supporting evidence.
Prepare a 7–10-page business analysis that explains the generic business strategies for the organization, analyzes the business strategy used and the company's business model, analyzes the corporate strategy of the company and the overall corporate structure and management systems, and analyzes the strategic fit between the business and corporate strategies.
