Background
The TBL data relates to the KPIs by focusing on the financial, social, and environmental concerns that affect the sales and marketing departments to increase rewards membership in low-income markets. According to the TBL theory, organizations should look beyond revenue to include social and environmental concerns to determine the entire cost of doing business (Yip et al., 2023). TBL is an accounting framework that goes beyond profits to include other sustainability dimensions. It is, therefore, helpful in arriving at comprehensive investment results concerning the interrelated components of people, the planet, and profits. This memo will discuss the specific areas of the consolidated balance sheet, cash flow statement, and income statement for the rewards program product line and also include the KPIs for each TBL element.
People
The people element of the TBP accounting framework relates to the business's social impact, including its commitment to empowering all stakeholders like customers, staff, vendors, and local communities. The two KPIs used to measure this bottom line were community contributions based on points achieved and employee welfare based on compensation packages. On the other hand, the measurement criterion for the two KPIs were charitable contributions from the program and additional benefit packages to staff. The business SMART objective for the first KPI was to increase its community contributions by $50,000 by end-of-year 2021.
