Unit 10 Discussion 1
The major challenge facing the public health sector is knowledge gaps and lack of comprehensive research to address these issues (Erwin & Brownson, 2016). Moreover, when we consider the current state of the healthcare system, it is essential to translate research findings into policies and evidence-based care interventions. The posting is based on the assumption that the future of public health is hopeless without the proactive implementation of effective measures and policies related to public health and care provision. I propose that the measures and policies established within the system of care must be research-based. The main cause of negativities within the healthcare system is poor health literacy, and all stakeholders are to blame for this part (Zielinski, 2019). Considering these issues, what can be done differently to address the negative issues in healthcare systems? I believe that research is a true solution to all the diverse issues within the healthcare system.
