Alexander, Ahammer, Halla Martin, and Mario Lackner. Mass gatherings contributed to early COVID-19 spread: Evidence from US sports. No. 2003. Working Paper, 2020.
This article helps in the analysis of the case by showing evidence of how mass gatherings have led to an increase in covid-19 cases throughout the USA. The main emphasis is on the role of the National basketball association and Hockey in the initial spread of Covid-19 in the USA.
Figueroa, Jose F., et al. "Community-Level Factors Associated With Racial And Ethnic Disparities In COVID-19 Rates In Massachusetts: Study examines community-level factors associated with racial and ethnic disparities in COVID-19 rates in Massachusetts." Health Affairs (2020): 10-1377.
This article discusses the spread of Covid-19 and how it affects people with underlying medical conditions. There is the generalization that urban people are the most affected because of the high populations in their areas. This misconception is demystified because there are numerous primary underlying factors like the population size and the health conditions of demographics. Still, in this research it was concluded that the black and Asian minority are the most affected because they have more underlying medical conditions compared to other races.
Tan, L. F. "Preventing the transmission of COVID-19 amongst healthcare workers." Journal of Hospital Infection 105.2 (2020): 364-365.
The article gives incredible insights into the containment of coronavirus and the countering of its spread in communities.
