What Is Vancouver Citation Style?

Vancouver Style is the international standard for medical and biomedical journal citations, developed by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). It uses a numbered reference system similar to IEEE but tailored for health sciences. References are numbered in order of citation and listed numerically at the end of the paper. Author names use initials without periods.

Primary disciplines: Medicine, Nursing, Health Sciences, Biology
