A Relic

A relic is an object of veneration that passes its power from real to another. For example, I traveled to Thailand for vacation, and one of the natives known as Han gave me a gold-plated ring after I save him from drowning on a beach. Unfortunately, he passed on due to chronic illness; however, the ring that he left to me creates fresh memories whenever I see it. It connects the physical realm to the spiritual realm. I would resemble this as a relic because it transfers power from the spiritual realm to the physical realm. Although Han was a friend for a shorter time, whenever I see or touch the ring he left, it brings life. It is an object that is spiritually charged hence connecting me to Han through spiritual realms. Therefore, the Gold-plated ring that Han gave to me is a relic.
