Overview
This paper examines how Zoroastrianism and Judaism form the theological foundation for Christianity, tracing the development from monotheistic belief systems through early Christian eschatology to modern Christianity. Zoroastrianism or/and Judaism presents the foundation for Christianity. There are numerous reasons due to this. The first reason is that followers who profess the Christian religion centre their beliefs on the death, life, as well the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians base their belief in God, who created the universe, heaven, and earth. This belief of Christians in one God begun with Zoroastrianism or/and Judaism or what is commonly known as the Jewish religion. The second reason is that Christians have the utmost belief that Jesus is the saviour of the world or the Messiah. Finally, Zoroastrianism or/and Judaism is the basis of the Early Christianity, which ultimately advanced into Christianity, in that, Christianity began with Judaism eschatological anticipations, and it advanced into the veneration of a rebelled Jesus Christ after his ministry in Earth, together with Jesus crucifixion, post-crucifixion experience of his followers.
The present divisions in Christianity is baffling, particularly taking into account, they use one Bible, and profess the teachings of Christ. Specifically in the new testament, as even Jesus Himself prayed that his forthcoming followers would demonstrate a unique kind of unity which would be a testimony to the universe. Presently, there are diverse denominations, groups, and churches. The main reason for these divisions is because denominations are comprised of churches, churches are comprised of people, and every now and then people do not get along.
