Zoroastrianism and Judaism present the foundation for Christianity. There are numerous reasons that can explain this fact. Followers professing the Christian religion centre their beliefs on death, life, and the teachings of Jesus Christ. Christians have a strong belief in God, who created the universe, including heaven and earth. The belief in one God started with Zoroastrianism and Judaism, which were primarily Jewish religions. The second reason is that Christians believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the only savior of the world. Finally, Zoroastrianism and Judaism is the basis of Early Christianity, which advanced into contemporary Christianity. This implies that Christianity began with Judaism's eschatological anticipations (Starting Point, 2021). The subsequent development advanced into the veneration of a rebelled Jesus Christ during his ministry on earth, his crucifixion, the post-crucifixion experience of his followers.

The present divisions in Christianity are perplexing, considering that they use one Bible and profess the teachings of Christ. In the New Testament, Jesus prayed that his followers would demonstrate unity that would testify to the world. Presently, there are diverse denominations with different doctrinal beliefs. The main cause of these divisions is that denominations are comprised of churches, churches are comprised of people, who do not agree on many things. There is no particular denomination that is above another or right in comparison to another. Christians are divided due to disagreements, resulting in the conception of new denominations and churches (Starting Point, 2021).
