Task 1
A stakeholder analysis is a technique of identifying the internal people or team that will be involved in a project. The process involves grouping internal stakeholders according to their levels of contribution, influence, and interest in the project. This analysis is meant to identify the best way to manage and communicate with each stakeholder throughout the entire project. Moreover, a stakeholder analysis allows the project manager to determine how to best leverage the knowledge and skills of each stakeholder, gain early alignment from all players regarding project goals and plans, and tackle any issues or disagreements early on before they can impede the project ((Riahi, 2017; Sarhadi, Hasanzadeh and Hoseini, 2021). Task 1 of this assignment will begin by a stakeholder analysis of an IT project focused on designing and developing a program that monitors EC2 usage, schedules instances, and enables users to manage the same by switching the functions on and off. The stakeholders in the IT project include a scrum master, development lead, design lead, testing lead, and market researcher. A stakeholder analysis of the various team players in contained in the attached template together with their individual levels of contribution, influence, and interest in the project.
The second part of Task 1 will focus on analyzing the team members’ strengths and weaknesses using the team role theory developed by Belbin.
