Special Educational Needs in Early Years
Introduction
This report aims to demonstrate the efficiency of adopting an appropriate mediation on a case study that involves a child with SEND in a mainstream school setup. It is critical to understand the policies, laws, and management related to supporting SEND in the children. The report will first outline the issues associated with understanding the policies, regulations, and guidelines and inclusive education for the children with SEND. The second phase of the report will give a case that shows when a child needs an intervention program. Third, the report will outline extensive justification from the case, which involves the intervention used and its efficiency. The last section of the report will be the conclusion, and the recommendation section aimed to disclose how the response can be enhanced and the necessary adjustments projected.
The Special Education Needs (2019) defines SEND as a case where a child has learning trouble or disability that demands a special education delivery to be accorded for him or her following a meaningfully huge challenge in learning than in the other children similar age. Such difficulties hinder the children from making efficient use of the amenities given to the others of the same age in the mainstream school setting. There is a need to have accessible education for every child as it makes them ready for adult life.
