Introduction

An interview is a qualitative research technique that involves asking open-ended questions to collect relevant data about a subject. In most cases, the interviewer is an expert in the subject matter and intends to understand the respondents' opinions using a well-planned and executed series of questions and answers. In regards to collecting information, interviews are similar to surveys and focus groups, but their operation is entirely different. Interviews include a sample from a specific population and their conversational tone if their crucial characteristic. They are designed to gather comprehensive information about behavior, opinions, preferences, knowledge, attributes, feelings, and attitudes. Qualitative interviews are a primary research method for many Ph.D. studies.

A research plan is a brief reference point for the project's goals, objectives, timeline, and leading players. It ensures that your interview process is successful by offering an overview of the initiative and functions as a kick-off document for the project. These plans allow researchers to ensure that the research objectives are answered most efficiently and effectively possible.
