Jessica’s Graph

Based on graphical representation, Jessica's progress is not improving because the horizontal trend signifies zero changes or improvement. The number of weeks under instruction does not positively influence the number of words read correctly. Based on the goal line of the instruction, the performance of Jessica, even under instruction, was poor. This affirms that the intervention is ineffective and cannot achieve the desired goals. In this regard, there is a need to revise the instruction or intervention model and consider moving tiers in order to attain the results. This requires re-evaluation of the instruction approaches and ensure that Jessica’s mode of interventions improves her condition as the weeks of instruction increase.

Trendline

Nathan’s Graph

The trend line shows that Nathan is improving after several weeks of instruction. This affirms that the instructions have been effective in achieving the desired goals. In this regard, the intervention chosen is achieving the intended goals, which can be seen by the positivity of the trendline. However, since the trend line is still flatter compared to the goal line, there is a need to revise the instruction and ensure that it is effective in meeting the goal. There is a need to change the tiers and improvise proper approaches that can assist in achieving the desired goals.
