RE: Recommendation for EHR/EMR Instructional Software

I recommend Lippincott DocuCare because its information favors our situation more than the rest of the products.

Lippincott DocuCare was designed and developed by Lippincott, Williams, and Wilkins in collaboration with the nurse faculty at the University of Tennessee Knoxville. The copyright year is not available on their website. Still, the University of Tennessee Knoxville is an ISO 2019 certified institution which would not work with an institution that is not ISO certified ("ISO | University of Tennessee Knoxville," 2020).

Lippincott DocuCare gives a range of license prices that are friendly to students. The package that we could go for is the one for three years, which is valued at $265. The institution, however, should take a separate license. The rest of the products give a range that is not pocket friendly for students. Lippincott DocuCare’s website provides a link to other supportive resources, including YouTube tutorials, which help in how to use the software. Students will find it easy to use it and can easily refer to the website in case of any difficulty using the software. Additionally, the Lippincott DocuCare website has a permanent video demo on how to use it ("Lippincott DocuCare - EHR Simulation for Nursing Students," 2020).

The software is IT supportive.
