Week 2 Reflection

The healthcare delivery system's dynamic aspect underscores the need to have nurses prepared to deal with all the pressure and responsibilities that come with the profession. There are various steps in which one must undertake to ensure that they are well-prepared to become professional nurses (Ranjbar et al., 2017). One of the approaches to be quite significant in a nurse's life is undertaking an MSN Leadership program (Kohler & Dixon, 2019). The MSN Leadership program is a necessary process to build themselves and learn to offer better healthcare services to their patients.

My journey to becoming a nurse started way back in my teenage years, whereby my dream was to take care of others by providing healthcare services. Over the years, I have learnt many different necessary concepts before one actually becomes a registered nurse. Notably, the information I have learnt during my MSN Leadership program has been vital in learning about what is needed in the nursing practice. One of the main aspects that one learns from the MSN program is the ability to specialize and gain knowledge of a specific nursing area (Johnson, 2016). More so, the program also helps one in gaining valuable experience and hands-on training in a real medical environment and also providing care to actual patients. Notably, being able to visit various healthcare facilities and witness the responsibilities required by nursing professionals is one of the experiences that has made me reach this level.
