As a Christian leader, one is bound to live in a way that an entire society would be happy. Recently, I needed to talk to an individual that was having a good time in a social place where alcohol is sold. Since the person was too intoxicated to get out, I had to enter the social place and pass my message. However, I was spotted by friends and others who talked about the entire circumstance. The news went all over to my place of worship, and I was rebuked a lot (Rathore, 2017). With every person talking about me, I was not able to go to church for some time. I developed a negative attitude towards people that were talking about me. As a result of the here say and too many words from people, I was not able to deliver my duties as a leader in the church.

The experience that I went through is well highlighted in the topics that have been learned during the lesson in relation to performance. As it has been studied within the lesson, some factors affect attitude. Moreover, personality and values are important. If I had known how people perceive my personality, I would not have entered such a social place. Readings from the text communicate a lot about why motivation is affected (Mitchell, 2018. A good case is that I may have gone out of my values, so people had to make conclusions.
