Leadership is one of the essential roles in any community. As a Class President, an individual must exhibit credibility and lack any form of scandals that will decrease or affect his authority. In order to qualify for the position, it is expected for the student selected for the position of Class President to meet all the requirements before he takes up his role officially. Since it has been discovered that the student has not completed the self-study course requirement for all student senate representatives, it is not appropriate for him to address the student body. This is an important measure that ensures all individuals selected to represent students maintain a high standard of discipline and self-respect.
The leaders must be able to defend his or her position without any bias, ensuring that students respect them as required. In this regard, it is appropriate for the address to the students' body to be postponed to a later date. This will give the selected Class President ample time to undergo the course before he is announced as the true leader or representative of the class. There is a need to create incentives for openness and explain the reasons behind the announcement ceremony's postponement.
Adhering to established rules or policies is essential for building a culture of positivity and cooperation. The issue must be resolved by postponing the announcement for a week to allow the student to undergo the required course.
