Health Effects of Stressful Lifestyle

Eve’s belief that enduring all her stressful moments can make her “a stronger person” is true to some extent since science reveals that one can succeed by freaking out at various points in life. One such benefit of withstanding stress is that it provides positive energy for aiding the performance of an individual (Slavich, 346). However, there are several obvious health problems that she may encounter by failing to make some changes to her lifestyle. Thus, the purpose of this essay is to describe two probable complications that Eve may meet by continuing to continue with her current routine. It does so by explaining the reasons for thinking that these will be problems for her.

The first potential health problem that Eve may come across if she maintains a stressful lifestyle is cardiovascular ailments. The provision of oxygen and nourishment to various body organs is as a result of two elements found in the cardiovascular system which work jointly as part of the blood vessels and the heart. While the body responds to stress, it also coordinates the activity of each of the two elements (Farrell, Allison and Jeffry, 49). For instance, one may experience an intensive contraction of muscles in the heart and an increased heart rate when faced with acute stress momentarily or within a short period.
