Abstract:
The aim of this project is to design a Database Management System to provide Kacynest Testing Agency with an effective way of conducting the testing process. This user-friendly and integrated database application will help minimize manual testing which is often performed by individuals sitting in front of computers, while executing the test steps carefully. It is intended to accept data, process information, and generate accurate reports. Additionally, the system will help in speeding up the test execution cycle, automate the mundane tasks of testers, and reduce human efforts. In addition to promoting efficiency, the application will enhance end-user experience, provide relevant, consistent, quick, and error-free feedback.
Kacynest is an approved Testing Agency located in Boston Massachusetts. The company has a number of skilled employees headed by an effective leadership that is always aiming for the best of this organization. Some of the primary goals for this company is to guarantee a high-level of customer satisfaction and enhance their employees’ skills. This agency was experiencing several challenges with its existing system which does not meet the company’s needs.
Some of the challenges include increased volumes of manual transactions, inconsistency, lengthy test execution cycles, minimal delivering capabilities, as well as difficulties in performing tests on multiple platforms. Also, each department has its own database, making it hard to share data.
