Comparative Analysis of Nursing Clinical Practice, Hospital Safety Climate, and Mental Health Exercise Interventions

Overview

This document presents an academic analysis of three quantitative research studies examining nursing education outcomes, patient safety climate impacts on hospital readmission rates, and mental health professionals' perspectives on exercise interventions. The analysis identifies research problems, variables, populations, and sampling methodologies across studies in healthcare and nursing contexts.

Broad Topic Area/Title

A study that aims ensure that nursing students who enter their first clinical practice period in community healthcare settings have the proper defensible knowledge and practical skills required to take care of patients in a safe manner.

The research problem being addressed is the relationship between a hospital’s patient safety climate and the frequency of rehospitalization within a month (30days) of discharge. The study attempts to look at how safety and readmission correlates and if the culture of safety is low, does it increase readmission or does the opposite happens?

Exercise is nowadays considered as an evidence-based treatment modality in people with mental illness. Nurses

and occupational therapists working in low-resourced mental health settings are well-placed to provide exercise advice for people
