Climate Change: Effects on Human Health and Environmental Degradation and the Role of Renewable Energy Solutions
Overview
This essay examines the global effects of climate change on human health and the environment, focusing on greenhouse gas emissions from industrial and transport sectors. The author argues that transitioning to renewable energy sources like solar power and implementing regulatory measures can mitigate climate change impacts.

Climate Change
Dear New York Times editors, my article is about climate change and how it affects human health and the environment. The effects of climate change are increasing globally, and many organizations, including businesses, government, and individuals, are talking about finding a solution to this problem. At the world’s economic forum held in Davos, climate change was the main agenda of the conference. The emission of poisonous gases causes climate change into the air, such as carbon and Sulphur dioxide. These gases pollute the atmosphere increasing the greenhouse gas effect, which can lead to global warming.
Global warming can lead to the death of human life and also destroy the environment. To reduce this effect, companies should opt for solar energy since its environmentally friendly and does not pollute the environment. The transport sector also contributes immensely to global warming through the combustion of fossil fuel to produce carbon, which, when released to air, causes pollution. Carbon increases temperatures of the environment leading to global warming (Ahima).
Production and transport industries are significant contributors to the climate change effect. These industries consume a lot of fossil fuels, which in turn produce hazardous gaseous to the environment. The gaseous released lead to both low and high temperatures at abnormal times of the year. High temperatures warm up water bodies, which result in high heavy rains hence making waterbodies to break their banks, causing floods in the lowlands. Due to high temperatures, glaciers are melting at a high rate.
