While psychedelic is believed to assist in repressing traumatic memories, it is tough to use psychedelics to prevent these issues. There are still controversies whether these substances should be used in a nursing home or hospice care. Products derived from cannabis can be abused easily, which presents the potential dangers when applied in hospice care. There is a need for extensive research and the long-term impacts of using cannabis and psychedelic on assisted nursing home or hospice care.
Practitioners and policymakers are faced with tough situations about the issues related to marijuana use and application in healthcare.
