Automated Testing System: Database Management Design and Implementation for Competency Assessment
Overview
This case study proposes the design and implementation of an automated testing system for mass competency evaluation using database management systems. The project addresses the competitive examination testing industry's need for speed, efficiency, and thorough assessments through an integrated web-based platform with configurable roles, real-time monitoring, and auto-grading capabilities.

Detailed Proposal Requirements
Contents of the Detailed Proposal:
- Project Description:
The automated testing deals with automatic assessing and analyzing competency of an individual in a specific subject. It presents a practical solution if the company or testing agency is dealing with mass evaluation with numerous unique features that cannot be handled by manual or paper-based systems. The examination testing industry is highly competitive; thus, many companies and agencies in the business are facing uncommon pressure to enhance speed of tests execution, conduct thorough assessments more often, and ensure efficiency of the testing process. The main objective is to have an integrated system that guarantees customer satisfaction and ensure their agency processes and structures in sales and services are efficient enough to meet the company’s needs.
- Project Architecture:
The database management system will be created using different programming languages to ensure learners from different backgrounds can access and answer the questions in their preferred and modes that include PHP (for the front-end interface), HTML, CSS for styling and information presenting, and MYSQL (for the backend). It will be presented through an APACHE web server.
- Project Plan / Schedule (Same as schedule on Cover Sheet):
