Skill refers to the ability to be able to do particular activity very well. I have expertise in writing skills, which help me communicate ideas clearly and comprehensively. Writing skills require one to have the knowledge associated with expressing ideas through written words. Before becoming a professional writer, I was an avid reader and was interested in writing about diverse issues. Friends read some of my content and continued to encourage me to keep writing. I progressively improved my writing skills to reach this professional level.
Question 2
Bloom's taxonomy includes remembering, understanding, applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating. In the remember stage, one learns to recall facts and basic concepts (Wilson, 2016). A learner can define, duplicate, memorize, repeat, list, and state concepts in this stage. In the understanding phase, a learner can explain ideas or concepts. The applying step allows a learner to use information in new situations. Analyzing stage, on the other hand, will enable people to draw connections among different ideas. The skills learned are differentiating, organizing, relating, and examining ideas. Evaluating stage allows people to justify a decision. It involves appraising, arguing, defending, judging, and supporting a stand. In the creation stage, one learns to produce original work. (Armstrong, 2016). The skills learned are designing, assembling, constructing, developing, and formulating work.
