Lesson Plan Analysis
The academic standard is typically the SPA criteria that give tutors state standards on how to make learning objectives. The special specialization association articulates the guidelines on how to prepare learning objectives in a standard manner.
Learning Objective
Technically, learning objectives are used to elaborate the purpose of a lesson; it also reflects the expectation and goals at the end of a particular lesson. Notably, the collaboration of learning objectives gives long-term objectives of a course; for example, having the importance of technology as a learning objective would reflect the primary purpose in an IT course. It is imperative to understand that not all learning objectives are effective or successful; thus, it is essential to make them SMART. In this case, the learning objectives should always be specific; for example, if it is a lesson on cybercrime, the whole lesson should stick to that. Secondly, the learning objectives should be measurable and attainable; everything articulated in the plan should be imaginable and achievable. The primary objective of making learning objectives measurable is to strengthen the learning process. Lastly, learning objectives should be timely; it gives tutors and learners the to complete the syllabus within the allocated time (Schutz, 2011).
Standardized and Objective Alignment
As discussed earlier, learning objectives should always be timely and accurate; however, they should be guided by the SPA guidelines. Most importantly, all learning objectives in a particular unit should align with the goals.
