A Story for A 4-Year-Old Child

Many years ago, there was a boy named Fonterra. He lived with his mother and father in an impoverished household. The father worked as a carpenter while the mother worked on a sisal farm. One day, Fonterra's mother asked him to collect firewood in a neighboring forest. While in the forest, Fonterra met a magician who requested him to assist with his house chores. In return, the magician would compensate him with a diamond watch. The magician's home is within a cave. Fonterra is requested to pick a lamp from the cave's main room, which is as dark as night. The cave was too steep for Fonterra to descend safely.

While the magician was asking Fonterra about the work for compensation, his main aim was to trap him in the cave. While he struggled to descend into the cave, Fonterra heard a magical voice that requested him to ask for anything he wishes. He confessed that he wanted to leave the place, crying loudly. It was against and magician's wish for Fonterra to ask for such a thing. After making his request, he immediately found himself outside the cave. He rushed home and explained to his mother what had happened to him. While the mother was washing the lamp brought by Fonterra, a genie appeared and requested her to say anything that she wanted to have.
