Personal Statement

Many people tend to express their gratitude and thankfulness in different ways. In essence, embracing these qualities has had a significant influence on my perception of various aspects of the world. One of them is that it has helped me appreciate all the situations I experienced in life. Gratitude has helped me learn that human beings have a mandate to embrace all the situations they face in their daily lives. As a Christian, the best approach is to trust in God and believe that everything happens according to His plans and for a reason (Mohler, 2018). In this sense, it is always essential to be thankful no matter the situation.

Another way in which gratitude and thankfulness have impacted my perceptions is that I have learned the importance of not comparing myself to other people. As the Bible states, all human beings are unique and created in God's image and likeness. As such, it is always to be appreciative of ourselves and always thank God for creating and bringing us into the world. Moreover, being thankful has taught me the need to help and serve other people. Through gratitude and thankfulness, one learns to appreciate other people and is willing to come to their aid whenever they are faced with challenging situations. In this sense, these concepts have influenced my worldview and perspective in life.

My life is based on having a positive mindset towards myself and others.
