The American Dream

Take some time to reflect on your opinion of the American Dream. What does it mean to you?

Through the American Dream, I believe anyone can attain their goals, despite their background, race, or color. I think the American Dream is best for society because it enables everyone to pursue and achieve their goals. It is hinged on an equal society where upward social, political, and economic mobility is possible. It means that hard work and resilience are vital in achieving these dreams. People can attain economic, political, and social freedoms that enable them to live a quality life. To me, the American Dream also means that society has the right regulations and policies that allow people to thrive, despite their background and social class.

What is the American Dream?

The American Dream centers on realizing human rights and freedoms where individuals can work and achieve their dreams without limitations. In this regard, the government creates policies and measures that guarantee fundamental rights and freedoms. There are no limitations on any individual's dream because they can access quality services to propel them toward their goals. Some important components that assist in achieving the American Dream are quality healthcare, education, and business environment. There is a need to ensure that minorities are supported and have access to resources that guarantee their growth in all spheres. These principles are the epitomes of the American Dream.

Can you think of anyone who has "achieved" this idea? Explain.
