Reflection on PCF Readiness for Practice Domain
About this Reflection
Considering that I am pursuing my Masters in Social Work, I have begun reflecting on how I would perform my duties satisfactorily despite the challenges and problems I expect to encounter in the exercise. Additionally, being a social work exercise, I will need to develop relationships and networks with other experienced social workers an aspect I believe will be crucial in enabling me to complete the placement and achieve the set objectives. In this regard therefore, this reflection concerns the measures I will need to put in place in order to be able to achieve the objectives of the placement
Reaction to the Event
Social work practice is both interesting and challenging. In my understanding, social work practice is interesting in that one encounters unique tasks every day and which calls for the utilization of appropriate strategies and professional knowledge to accomplish the tasks successfully. Additionally, in my view, social work is interesting in that I will have an opportunity to get first-hand experience of the diverse cultural aspects of the people I interact with within the course of my practice. I also understand social work as a challenging task in that it entails providing solutions to diverse challenges encountered by people.
Event Analysis
