Question 1
My mother is one of the people who continue to make the greatest impact on me. My mother has always been present in my life, and her selflessness and resilience in raising a family by herself are something I always admire. My mother’s willpower and determination to fulfill her family’s needs and wants to inspire me to be strong and have the capacity and goodness to help those around me. My mother’s belief in my capacity to learn and succeed has provided me with the security and stability to constantly challenge myself and work hard. Another person who has made a significant impact on my life is my 5th grade teacher. She has always supported and inspired me towards success and satisfaction. I still find myself going to seek her advice on various issues outside of school long. Getting advice from others is a perfect way to achieve personal development (Gavin, 2019). My connection with her has persisted over the years. I regularly visit her because I consider her a central figure. One experience that also made a significant impact on me was football. The game has taught me valuable teamwork lessons that are transferable. I believe that football has made me a better team player.
Question 2
I use music to become more self-aware and mindful of my strengths, shortcomings, interests, feelings, and how they interact with other facets of my personality.
