In healthcare leadership, integrity is one of the most important aspect that a leader must possess. This is because a healthcare administrator or leader must establish the tone or tempo for the team operations (Letourneau, 2012). Through integrity, the leader is able to align the team objectives and ensure that people remain focused on what is important. It is also an avenue for opening communication and ensuring that there is shared responsibility within the leadership. It is always essential for the leader to set the standard and establish the bar for the team to operate. Having completed the quiz on plagiarism, I fully understand the role integrity has in ensuring that I become an effective leader in the healthcare sector. This is an essential ethical issue because it defines the professional ability of an individual. There are numerous ways through which plagiarism presents itself in the day-to-day activities of the student. When an individual commits plagiarism, they violate the regulations of academic integrity, which is an unprofessional act. There is a need to ensure that I commit myself to work through my education and submit original work. In addition, I should offer credit whenever I reference work from other authors. The test was beneficial and will transform my educational journey and abilities as a healthcare leader. When we fail to exercise integrity, we violate the ethical guidelines of the healthcare industry and render the efforts of other worthless. This affirms the essence of adhering to professional conduct and academic integrity.
