Artist Statement
As an artist, my work explores the boundaries between reality and imagination. How our minds interpret the world and how we can manipulate those interpretations to create new perspectives is fascinating. The medium of choice is photography, as it allows me to capture a moment in time and transform it into something entirely different.
The current body of work revolves around the concept of time and memory. I use long and multiple exposures to create dreamlike images that blur the lines between past and present. Notably, the photographs capture fleeting moments of light and shadow, freezing them in time and presenting them in a familiar and otherworldly way. One of the key themes in my work is the idea of transformation. I am interested in exploring how we can use our imaginations to transform the world around us and create new possibilities. Through photography, the goal is to inspire others to see the world differently and embrace their power to transform it.
In artistic practice, the commitment is experimenting with new techniques and pushing the boundaries of what is possible. I am constantly exploring new ways to use light and shadow, color and texture, and other elements to create dynamic and engaging works of art. Overall, my goal as an artist is to create beautiful and thought-provoking work. I believe that art has the power to inspire us, challenge us, and transform us in ways that nothing else can.
