The Class that I Would Like to Teach
The class that I would like to teach someday is elderly care and caring for the disabled. The number of people that are becoming old is increasing each year. The individuals in the elderly home are many, and they need people to take care f their needs. It is essential to have medical professionals understand these people's needs and offer quality care (Lee et al., 2020). There is also a large population of people that are disabled in the country. It is critical to have medical professions that can assist the people that are disabled. I believe that the class will be interesting to the students that I will be teaching and me. It will also be an opportunity to learn the various dimensions and challenges facing the elderly and people with disabilities.
The Institution That Is Sponsoring the Class
The organization that is sponsoring the class is a nursing home, Eastport Memorial Nursing Home. The philosophy of the organization sponsoring the class is that people of all ages and the disabled should get quality care. The practitioners must ensure that the people who are disabled and elderly can reach their full potential through comprehensive and quality care. The individuals that are disabled should not be made to feel like they are lesser than the rest of the population. Many achievements have been made by people who are disabled.
