Summary and Scene
Although Mike and Brianna have been married for four years, they have different ideas about making a good marriage. Both of them have expectations, but Brianna demands more Mike while the latter requires less of her. These levels of expectations often cause misunderstanding and conflict. Communication is one of the primary issues they are always arguing about. Brianna still wants to talk. She informs her husband about her whereabouts all the time, checks on him during the day, and cannot stand his silence whenever they are together. She will ask Mike what he is thinking about when he is quiet. The young banker expects the same from her husband.
Mike is a 34-year-old doctor who loves watching soccer and other sports during his free time. He prefers a little peace. When he is not at home, you will find him hanging out with Bill, his childhood friend. They have so much in common and are against the idea of talking to their wives all the time. The medical professional often complains about Brianna's 'behavior' regarding it as annoying and childish. Sometimes they laugh about it, but on other occasions, Mike gets angry. He feels that his wife is always calling to talk about petty things. At the same time, she does not have anything meaningful to say.
Back at home, when he is not talking, his wife imagines he is mad about something or does not love her anymore.
