LIVE SPACE LAUNCH - Olympia LePoint Explains NASA's 1st Human Crew Dragon SpaceX Flight on CBS News
Watching this video, it is interesting to note the language that is being used by the astronauts. It sounds complex as the language is not easy to understand. Furthermore, there is a degree in which the language seems new, never heard before. As one listens to the way the figures being mentioned keep on coming out from the astronauts, it is an indication that the members destined to space are well versed in their field. Moreover, the pronunciation of the statistics indicates that astronauts are well trained (NASA, 2020). Even if one does not understand the language being used clearly, one does not fail to understand that the astronauts know of their target.
Communication is the other key concept that comes out of the video. The astronauts are conversing in an interpersonal way. There is the use of coded language, which implies that the astronauts use words and names they can understand. On the other hand, there is a kind of repetitive word as it is being mentioned in the video. Words that sound the same keep coming from the astronauts, indicating that the scientists have a way to communicate to them to understand the other (NASA, 2020). Besides, there seems to be a lead communicator who is reading instructions, and that shows that in every field, there is a leader.
