Japanese Game Journal II: Bakumatsu Ishin End-Rose War

Introduction

Bakumatsu Ishin-Rose War is a Japanese game that reflects the end of the Edo period. Notably, the end of the game depicts Tokugawa (Edo) end, a war triggered by different events. The end of Tokugawa brought restoration to the Japanese imperial rule in the 1800s. In-Rose war game is built to show different events before the restoration of the imperial system; in this, it is a story structured in the form of the game.

Overview

Let us explore the Bakumatsu Ishin End-Rose War; it has several important parts, for example, imperial territories and their boundaries. As you play the game, you connect the remarkable imperial reign with the Boshin Warriors. Additionally, the game is also divided into other parts, for instance, "at armistice" and "at the time of war," the "armistice" is the period when Edo had great support from Osaka and Tokugawa, amongst other great Japanese warriors. Every territory has its leadership, and it requires negotiation to cross from one territory to another. In this case, it demonstrates diplomacy; it is the same thing that was applied during the "armistice" period. Most war leaders came together to support the restoration of Japanese imperial rulership. Although most of these diplomacy calls were meant to negotiate leadership with peace, North West leadership failed to acknowledge. This series of events led to a war that would see complete restoration (Screech).
