Analysis of How Happiness is Influenced by Explanatory Variables: A World Happiness Report Statistical Study
Overview
This statistical project analyzes variations in happiness levels across different nations using the World Happiness Report dataset. The study employs R-Studio to develop a model examining how explanatory variables such as GDP, life expectancy, freedom, generosity, and corruption perception influence people's happiness and overall quality of life.

Abstract
The happiness analysis showed that there much variation in happiness levels in different parts of the world. The evaluation of the data provided revealed an informative measure, offering comparisons between the different nations on how happiness is influenced by the explanatory variables. Notably, the analysis assisted in capturing the overall quality of life. R-Studio was used in running the model. Happiness is a factor that is influenced by the explanatory variables selected in the analysis. The levels of happiness for each country were based on the ten variables considered in the study. People's freedom to choose or not choose had a more significant influence on the overall happiness of the people.
Notably, high rates of corruption within a nation increased the people's level of dissatisfaction. The positive measures of effect were happiness, laugh, and enjoyment, which all proved to be essential in warranting people's happiness. The data proved that healthy life expectancy at birth, freedom to choose, generosity, perception regarding corruption, social support had a positive influence on happiness levels. The data was analyzed in R-Studio, with an exploratory data analysis (EDA) that was conducted. EDA was used to analyze the data sets and summarize the main characteristics. The results of the EDA were essential in developing the hypothesis of the project before the application of the formal model. The hypotheses are used to inform the direction of the research.
