Scope of Work (SOW)
1. Animal exhibits will include giraffes, elephants, penguins, polar bears, flamingoes, sea-lions, zebras and a rare snow fox.
2. The giraffes will co-exist with the elephants as will the flamingoes and sea-lions.
3. Each exhibit must be designed to reflect the natural habitat of the species.
4. All exhibits must be incorporated into the high-level park layout which needs to be created.
5. Hire and train following staff:
– Specialized veterinarian and support personnel must be trained and hired for each species.
– Zoo veterinarians must have ACZM certification.
– General grounds crew for maintenance consisting of landscapers and construction crews.
– Guest services group which includes security, ticket sales and special events.
6. Create three concession stands with different wildlife themes of which one will serve beer and wine.
7. Create two gift shops at each end of the park.
8. Partner with the community and offer day camps during the summer for underprivileged children including facilities such as Transportation, Breakfast, Lunch and an approved curriculum from the WWF.
