the article Federal Judge extends ban in new Kentucky Abortion Law. A federal judge has extended a temporary ban on an end to abortions in Kentucky. This decision is based on two clinics’ not being able to meet the guidelines as it pertains to the changes in the abortion law. US district judge is giving the clinic’s a short period of time to adapt to the necessary changes and to voice their objections to the current law through May 19, 2022. The Plan Parenthood and EMW Women’s Surgical clinic’s lawyers have prepared documents for an injunction to ban abortions in Kentucky. “All Federal and State courts must follow the precedents established by the U S Supreme court decisions.” (Cheeseman, 2019, pp.14).
Although we have rights as US citizens laws are established to protect individuals of their rights and to protect human life of those who are not capable of speaking for themselves. This law to abolish abortions is a state law of Kentucky and other states are not required to follow the changed in the law. We all are aware of the world evolves daily and we must adapt to the changes in our society. Laws are stable, but they can change, if relevant facts are presented to the courts as to the disagreement in the laws and allowing enough time for the process of the court’s decision, may or may not change a law.
