My program is designed to work with a specific target-group, Spanish-speaking app delivery service workers (deliveristas). Monitoring can be utilized to determine if the program is an effective one and whether or not it can be applied to other target- groups, whose primary language is not Spanish. When it comes to equity, the program intends to educate and create awareness while at the same time address some socioeconomic issues and barriers these essential workers face on a daily basis. The program will offer services, in a culturally competent fashion to at least 200 participants per cycle (2 hours a week for 5 weeks). Participants must reside and work in New York City and work for at least one App company. Effort (outputs) data will be used to analyze services rendered to address structural inequalities. Class participation, benefits and legal aid counseling, and mental health referrals will be monitored during the implementation of the program.

Type 1 – Pre-experimental Designs with the single-group pretest/posttest design would be the most appropriate for my program. It would be in the best interest for the program’s usefulness to pretest the participants to measure their expectations, prior knowledge, status, and individual needs. After the participants complete the program, a posttest will be applied. This will be extremely useful to ensure that participants’ needs were acknowledged and addressed while at the same time make any necessary changes to apply for the upcoming cycles.
