Submit a first draft of the researched argumentative essay you have beenpreparing in this course. This essay must meet the following requirements:
- It must contain a debatable thesis statement.
⚫ Include a Title Page and References page.
⚫ Be 5-7 pages double-spaced in Times New Roman 12-point or
similar font, not counting title and References page.
- Incorporate APA style parenthetical citation of at least five sources,
two of which must be scholarly sources.
- Include concession and rebuttal.
At the top of your essay, before the introduction, write the three revision
goals you made for this draft. Your grade will be partially based on how
effectively you met these three goals. If you do not write your three
revision goals at the top of your paper, you will not receive any points on
this section of the rubric (points total).
This assignment is worth 150 points and will be graded according to the
Researched Argumentative Essay rubric.
Remember that you may only receive points on both essay drafts if you
submit a substantively revised version for this assignment. Please DO NOT
submit the exact same paper for Week 9 and Week 11.
